Dyslexia Reading Help for Kids

Eye tracking is a common challenge for children when learning to read. The key symptoms of eye tracking challenges are:

  • Skipping words or lines
  • Feeling overwhelmed with smaller text
  • Skipping word endings
  • Preferring flashcards over sentences

When using tools like a ruler or index card to help keep focus on a line of text, students often learn to take a long pause at the end of each sentence, impeding comprehension. Why the long pause? Because they need to move their tracking tool down.

Eliminate the pause by using the Eye Lighter which does not block any text but instead highlights small portions. Our colored overlays tool lets children focus on word decoding and comprehension.
